(Boulder-CO) According to one of my inside sources, there was indeed a, “difference of opinions” between Coach George Karl and guard J.R. Smith during a Nuggets practice and said incident led to J.R. being benched for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers. Now, I’m sure that there will soon be more to this story from the mainstream media, but the main question that I have is how long will J.R. and Coach George Karl continue to be at odds? Other less important inquiries are will J.R. play against the Pistons on Sunday and will George Karl speak through the media on the matter in the next few days to come?
Only time will tell, but I have a feeling this story is just in its infancy.
