'65- Boston’s Bill Russell grabbed 49 rebounds, the third-highest total in NBA history, in a 112-100 win over Detroit at Providence.
'00- Rolando Blackman, holder of 24 Dallas Mavericks’ records, was honored by the team when it retired his jersey #22 during halftime of Dallas' game against Phoenix at Reunion Arena. Blackman joined Brad Davis (no. 15) as the only Mavericks to be so honored.
