(Boulder-CO) Welcome to the new and improved Nugg Doctor! You will notice a lot of things different about the new lay-out, but mainly I would like to point out a few things I’m really excited about.

First, you will notice that the entire “old” Nugg Doctor site is viewable by clicking the old site link on the top menu bar. If there is anything from the past that you would like to reference you can do so by navigating the old site right on the new site.

Next, you will notice the entire Denver Nuggets 2008-09 schedule on the bottom of the right sidebar. Not only is this a great way to find out when the next Nuggets game is, but you’ll know if they are at home, away, and what the team’s overall record is without having to search anywhere else. Plus, as the games are played, you will notice that my recap of each game will be linked to the date it was played so if you have missed a couple of games along the way you can catch up easily.

Now, here is where things start to get really good… The new Nugg Doctor has a forum! That’s right, voice your opinion on anything Nuggets related, league-wide, or just anything else that may be on your mind and get feedback from all your Nuggets brethren. Hopefully, this will be an invitational setting where we can all comprehensively discuss everything that affects the Nuggets and the rest of the league. The latest forum posts will be conveniently located on the top left sidebar so you can see what are the latest topics on the minds of the Nuggets Nation.

But wait, there’s more!

On the right sidebar, you will also notice “The Nuggets Rim Rattler of the Week”. I will be selecting the best Nuggets dunk on a weekly basis and posting the video evidence at the dismay of the Denver opposition. Play them once to relive some of the most exciting moments of the season or play them every time you visit the site to get pumped up for the next big game!

And finally, you will notice the Bloguin Roll and my personally selected general NBA and NBA team specific blog rolls directly underneath the latest forum topic posts on the left sidebar. The Bloguin blogs are great sites part of the Bloguin family that provide some of the most in-depth coverage of their respective teams spanning the NBA, NFL, and MLB. The general NBA blogs that were good enough to make my hand picked blog roll are updated at least three times a week by only the most reputable sources that make knowing what’s going on league-wide a breeze. The NBA team specific blogs, organized by conference first and then division, are comprised of only the most high-quality content for each and every team in the NBA!

So, with all the new features of The Nugg Doctor, my rejuvenated mindset for bringing the Nuggets Nation the best coverage of our beloved team, and the team’s continued success it’s now time for me to explain how you, the reader, fits into all of this excitement. For starters, I strongly urge you to set up a Bloguin user account immediately! This will give you the ability to comment on articles and voice your thoughts, concerns, and ideas in the forum. And best of all, your one-time user name registration will give you a voice on any of the Bloguin family of sports blogs! I felt that the “old” site was far too one-sided without enough back-and-forth between the hundreds, even thousands, of readers that would visit each day and my hope is with all that the new site has to offer we can get a tremendous dialogue going where everyone’s ideas are respected. So, if you haven’t already registered a user name do so now and join the conversation! Stop being shy and help us all take our enjoyment of Denver Nuggets basketball to the next level with the new and dramatically improved Nugg Doctor!
