(Denver-CO) Hello, Nuggets Nation. It's is with great pleasure that I introduce to you all a long-time friend, and reader, of The Nugg Doctor, Stumbleweed. Many of you already know him from the comments section and forum, but for the next week he will be guest writing the column, through the forum, while I am out of the country. I'm positive that he will bring an exciting change of pace from my "player oriented" writing style because, as many of you have noticed, he truly is a stat guru. He will take over sometime today with a preview of tonight's Clipper game and will be handling the day-to-day ongoings with the Nuggets until I return for the Kings match-up on 4/13.

There is no doubt in my mind he will do a fantastic job in my absence and I ask that you treat him with the same respect that you have myself. Remember, even as our opinions differ from time to time, we are all brethren of the Nuggets Nation.

So, with that I leave the site to Stumbleweed and I'm gone.

Thank ya, sir. I'll be putting up a game preview in a little bit, but the recap will have to wait until tomorrow morning, so hopefully that one guy who complained doesn't show up and egg my car or something.

Hey, I had to comment on tonights game even though the recap isn't out yet.

First of all, NuggDoctor, have a great trip. Good job on picking your replacement.
Second, I didn't get to do ANY Utah comments so I'm gonna stick them here. J.R. and Birdman were super hot hot and that was awesome. Also to give cred where it's due, GK was totally on the ball in the Utah game. I know I've been busting his chops this season but during the Utah game he had the clipboard out, was in serious conversation with the team and calling plays. When he got the T I thought to myself, 'That's the GK I remember'. I read the interview with him in 5280 and I realize he's trying to be the kinder and gentler GK. So be it and good luck to him. It just goes to show he can be kinder and gentler and have his head and soul in the game. The are not mutually exclusive.
Last comment about the Utah game, I feel like the bench did a great job. Coming in and getting theirs, that's what they are for.

Tonight's game was an enjoyable game to watch. There is no way we should have lost to the Clippers but stranger things have happend. Thank you Nuggets for winning this one.

Several pics just went out. Yours to use or not as you see fit.

Marcus didn't travel with the Clips due to a swollen ankle that the docs didn't want to see get any worse. Sad cause, 1- He had chartered a bus to take a large number of the kids in Marcus Mentors he supports. They still got to go. And 2- I really wanted to see a "swat fest" between he and Chris.

Thank ya, sir. I'll definitely share them with the readers -- I had a bit of a busy night/late morning myself, so I'll stick them in my recap soon.

These back-to-backs are rough for blogers like they're rough for the team, I guess -- gotta give propers to Nick for keeping the previews/recaps up so regular, I'm finding out that it's not as easy as it looks!

Sarah, I'm sure Nick the Nugg Doctor will appreciate your readership -- thanks for checking out the site and commenting!

I just put the Minnesota recap up. There are no games being played league-wide today and the Nuggets don't play again until Wednesday, so I'll likely post an off-day article or two. I'm an NBA junkie, so there's a possibility that it's a league-wide article outside the scope of what normally comes up here (see the "rest of the NBA" part of the forum... total ghost town).

And thanks everyone for bearing with me on posting articles via the forum -- it's not as visually attractive and doesn't show up on your RSS feeds, but that's how we've gotta do it until Nick gets back.
