(Denver-CO) In Monday night's game against the Kings, J.R. Smith crushed the old Denver Nuggets franchise record of nine made three-pointers in a single game by hitting eleven three's in 30 minutes of playing time. The old record was shared by Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and Michael Adams who each hit nine, respectively. And, with erie foreshadowing, I said this after Smith hit eight three's against the Jazz not but a week beforehand, "Smith’s eight bombs tied his career-high while falling just one short of the franchise record set my Michael Adams. One day, I truly believe that record will be Smith’s."
Talk about foresight!
Go Nuggets!
