(Denver-CO) That's the question I've been getting asked via email with more and more frequency lately. The answer? No, it's not Allen Iverson playing for the Grizzlies (Sorry AI, don't take it personal), but rather a slew of summer time excuses like fishing, camping, bbq'in', stacking W's at the local hoop spots, and of course a little work here and there. But, my hiatus is over and with a recharged mindset and the memory of the Nuggets' greatest playoff run in my lifetime still fresh I'm returning to the keyboard with a vengeance.
For starters, "Today's Date in NBA History" is coming back! In addition, a round-up of worth-reading links from around the NBA interwebs titled, "Nuggets of Note" will be a daily occurrence. You can also expect more regular op-ed pieces starting with tomorrow's, "Western Conference Status Quo" that is currently getting authored. The reason for this is after looking back at last season's body of work I felt that my opinions took a backseat to an AP style recap and a good slice of creative thought was lost. Now, that's not to say that the quality of analysis will slip, but there's going to be more truth - like it or not - in every post.
So get ready for more out of the original Denver Nuggets blog! It's the middle of September and the season is closer than you might think...
