(Denver-CO) Full load today, Nuggets Nation. I hope you have some time to kill at work.
- In an article by the Denver Post's Benjamin Hochman, Coach George Karl calls Anthony Carter, "One of the best backup point guards in the NBA."
- Kenyon Martin says, "60 (wins) is our goal" in an article on the Nuggets official homepage.
- Dime has their 2009-10 preview of the Denver Nuggets up. Interesting to note: Dime puts the Denver "ceiling" at the NBA Finals.
- SLAM Online also has a preview up and Cub Buenning puts the Nuggets Nation's mind at ease by answering two of the biggest questions, "So, does this team get back to the Western Conference Finals? Can they actually threaten the mighty Lakers, who were far more aggressive in the offseason? In this (un)biased person’s opinion, the answer is ‘yes’ to both inquiries. Denver was one of the few teams (contract/age/core makeup-wise) that didn’t need to make a whole lot of offseason shifting."
- A starting role may not be guaranteed for J.R. Smith, or this is just cleverly disguised motivation by George Karl in Chris Dempsey's article for the Post.
- Arodrive ranks the hottest chearleaders in the professional and college ranks. No surprise here that the Denver Nuggets have one of the easiest on the eyes.
- Who knows? Maybe, Arron Afflalo is the backup shooting guard the Nuggets were looking for...
Go Nuggets!
