Waive Goodbye to Flight White

(Denver-CO) James "Flight" White has been waived. My feeling is this is going to come back to haunt the Nuggets this season and perhaps for seasons to come. The Nuggets are now very slim at the small forward position, and have a league minimum 13 players on their roster. Below is a current depth chart:

PG - Chauncey Billups - Anthony Carter - Ty Lawson

SG - J.R. Smith - Joey Graham - Arron Afflalo

SF - Carmelo Anthony - Renaldo Balkman

PF - Kenyon Martin -Malik Allen

C - Nene - Chris Andersen - Johan Petro\

Best of luck to James White in his basketball travels. I really hope that an NBA teams take the chance on him so at least we can see "Flight" in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. White did say yesterday that if he does not make an NBA team this season he will head back overseas for financial reasons.

Ballhype: hype it up!

I know, I'm very disappointed too. The stupid reason is the dunk contest. The real reason is I know he is going to be a performer in this league.

The only thing that provides some serenity is he was competing for a spot on the inactive list...
