Nuggets of Note 11/3/09

(Denver-CO) Tonight's game starts at 5:00 pm MST, so in the meantime here are a few Nuggets of Notes for you to stay occupied with:

- In the world of vintage video game, NBA Jam, Carmelo and Chauncey rule supreme.

- I'm one of those basketball addicts who is not sold on the whole +/- stat as gospel, and here is one of those articles that supports my skepticism. According to +/- numbers so far, the Nuggets are a better team when Carmelo sits. Yea, I know.

- The Fan House ranks Denver third overall in their most recent power rankings.

- Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post writes, "Of the Pacers, Nets, Bulls and Bucks, none had a winning record last season, but all beat Denver in the Nuggets' lone trip to their towns. Embarrassment to the fifth degree."

- Hochman also believes that J.R. Smith's return is actually going to help Carmelo. Read the last part of that sentence again. "Help Carmelo", as if the rest of the league wants any part of that!

- The title of this article is, A Trade That Would Make The Denver Nuggets Champions, but I disagree wholeheartedly. Stephen Jackson is not the answer.

Go Nuggets!

Ballhype: hype it up!

I agree, Jackson is not the answer but I like the idea of Bosh in a Nuggets uniform. Maybe we can pick him up next season.
I can live with a trade that unloads Kmart for Bosh and Morrow for J.R.
I know I'll hear grief for saying this but I think Denver would be a better team.
