(Denver-CO) The Denver Nuggets are 5-0 so far this season, without J.R. Smith, and have been finding different ways to beat teams every night. With that in mind, here are your Nuggets of Note:
- NBA.com has the Nuggets 3rd overall in their week two power rankings.
- Fox Sports has the Nuggets at 4th overall in their week two power rankings, but that's two places up from where they were in week one and five places higher than they were ranked coming into the season.
- Hoops World also has the Nuggets ranked 4th overall in their week two power rankings.
- CBS Sports gives the Nuggets the 4th overall position in their week two power rankings too, but they have the Nuggets moving the most from week one from the 7th spot.
- Ty Lawson has been everything the Nuggets could have dreamed of - and then some. He is averaging 11.8 points, 2.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and an unbelievably low one turnover a game in just over 20 minutes of burn a game. When comparing those numbers to other big name rookie point guards like Jonny Flynn and Brandon Jennings who are scoring more points on far lesser teams you can appreciate his economical play as Flynn and Jennings are both averaging more than three turnovers a game.
Go Nuggets!
